A Director’s Thank You – 23+ Years in Service

This year, Arena Animation, Malleswaram is officially in its 24th year of operations having completed 23 successful years in Animation, VFX & Gaming Education.

When we started in December 1999, the technology industry was booming, and we were enjoying a strong wave of growth and innovation. In comparison to the booming & fast growing technology industry, the the multimedia industry as it was known back then was relatively very new & unheard of. This in fact encouraged & motivated me to venture out & the institution felt right. I had the loving support of my wife and family, and I was ready to jump in.

The hardest part to the start of the institution was assembling a very small training centre with minimum resources, which was housed in a single floor in a shared office building

Reflecting on the past two decades in training and what comes to mind are the opportunities where we’ve played a significant role for our aspiring Artists & Animators helping thousands of them to enter the growing market & position themselves among the best in the world. Along the way, we’ve worked through some difficult times too but helped & supported by our wonderful support team in-house & the belief of thousands of students & their parents. I thank all of them for their unwavering commitment and great relationships.

To be in this field for almost 24 years requires having incredible people in your organization. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work every day with a group of talented, passionate and caring people. Their willingness to give of themselves and help each other is very special and is deeply admired. They are the best.
